Rain, Rain go away, Spring Break starts today!

Even rainy days, that's what I keep telling myself. It's a very rainy Friday here in Boston, so when I saw this print on Etsy this morning it really brightened my day.

I am leaving tomorrow for DC for an Alternative Spring Break Trip. I am hoping and praying that the weather in DC is just slightly warmer than it is here in Boston, but it appears that it is also supposed to rain. I expect that I will have a lot to blog about when I get home from DC so be looking to read about my experience there!

I am going with a group of about 10 students, and we will be working with an organization called A Wider Circle dealing with the extreme poverty in DC. I am sure it isn't a secret to anyone how tragic the poverty problem in our nation's capitol is; I am sure it will be an emotional trip to see it first hand. It should be life changing.
