I'm not really sure why I wrote on the picture that this was a quote by Patti King, because it is most definitely Patti Smith, I blame it on the fever I had all week. Anyway...over the past week I have had the flu pretty badly, so when I wasn't sleeping I was reading Patti Smith's autobiography Just Kids. There are a ton of wonderfully written poetic lines throughout the book, but this is one of my favorites; probably because I do the same thing when I falter... listen to the beautiful words of John Lennon. 

If you are looking for an inspirational book about falling in love, following your dreams, and living in New York City during the 1960s go pick up Patti Smith's book, I promise you will not regret it because I can't put it down.
