I absolutely love the holiday season. Which for me basically starts in October when I begin my countdown to Thanksgiving. I Love Thanksgiving, mostly because it is such a great time to enjoy my family, really think about the things I am thankful for in my life, and it truly gets me more than anything excited to celebrate Christmas. What a joyful time of year.
My Thanksgiving this year was truly wonderful. This year marked the very first Thanksgiving that we were able to celebrate at my Aunt's new home. As always it was a delicious meal, which I waited months for! I love how my mom and my aunts and I, sometimes even Kendra joins in on the cooking fun, always with Cameron there to cheer us on! It was just wonderful. I've been missing my family a lot lately, especially as the stress of entering the real world so soon has begun to hit me.
One thing that was wonderful about the entire weekend of Thanksgiving was the time I was able to spend with my lovely little twin cousins Colby and Cameron. They have really grown up so fast, but their innocence is still there. The two of them give me more smiles and love, it truly warms my heart. Endless cuddling and playing Wii, I wouldn't trade it for the world. The other thing that I LOVE about the twins is they always are able to show me what truly matters in life, its hard to imagine learning so much from two little boys.
Less than two weeks and I will be home again with the people that I love most! I am a little sad to leave Boston for a month though, I was walking around near the North End and Quincy Market last night, and the Christmas decorations are just beautiful! BUT a whole month off from school, I am just imagining how wonderful it will be to finally have time to catch up on my reading...so many presidential biographies so little time.
I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
