Saturday was a beautiful day here in Rome. Chael and I finally made it over to the Roman Waterpark so some fun in the sun! It was great! There was a giant wave pool which we laid by for most of the day. In between tanning sessions we went down a couple of water slides to cool down. The first water slide was called the black hole. And was it ever a black hole. I couldn't see Chael sitting directly in front of me on the tube it was so dark, but also so much fun. We went down a few slides that were a little too intense for us. Even though the 5 year-olds that went down before us didn't seem to have a problem, for us the landing was a little rough. I wasn't really planing on getting and enema from a water slide that is for sure haha.
Half way through the day there was a giant pool party (see above). Everyone from the water park ended up in the wave pool, and it was this crazy Italian dance party. It was so much fun and very hilarious. We spent all day at the water park and by the time we got home we were both so exhausted that we just worked on some of our homework and passed out. It was such a great day. I am definitely going to miss my many adventures with Chael and the tons of laughs that we have together.
