Let the countdown begin....

It's official, I am leaving for Rome in one week! I can't believe it is finally here. Only a few more days of my co-op, and then it's off to the Eternal City for five weeks. I have so much to do, and in very little time as the Summer I semester closes up.

1. Move back to Maine on Friday. I am excited to see all of my friends and family before I leave, because I have been in Boston for most of the summer.

2. Pack...if you know me you will know that this is going to be a challenge; although, I was able to pack very lightly for my four day jet set to Gainesville last week (I was visiting my lovely friend Kaitlin at UF).

3. All of the things that I have refused to think of and blocked out, securing my health insurance, exchanging some cash for when I arrive, making millions of passport copies, figuring out how to get my "permit to stay"....I think you're following me.

Wish me luck as I wrap up my time here in the States, it is going to be a very busy week. I will do my best to keep you all updated about my many travels through Italy and Europe, so keep checking back.

  1. Rome will never be the same again...can wait to travel with you, even if it is virtual.
